Startup businesses are one that is still in the early stages of development. The business that is starting out is in its early stages of development and is unable to sustain itself without outside support like funding or marketing. A startup business typically requires an enormous amount of effort and dedication from its owners, and it may be difficult to obtain the time and funds needed to be successful. However, if the startup company can secure the needed backing (either through funding or marketing) the business will eventually expand and be very prosperous.
